Under The Palms

Under The Palms is a pop-up-shop market on Palm Beach in Florida, complete with vendors, VIP admittance, collectible buttons, and a beachside venue. The concept was developed through combining two unlike things; in this case, the beach and buttons.
Overall, the design includes illustrated tropical leaves, sand-like polka dots, bold script typography, and fun colors. The event branding touches every stage of the experience, from the VIP invite, to the shopping experience, and the post experience.
The VIP invite envelope unfolds to reveal a fold-out invitation with all the necessary information, such as a short description, the dates and times, and a vendor list. In addition, when flipped over, the back of the invite doubles as a mini poster!
At the event, the VIP attendees receive their passes, which include a barcode to be scanned in order to receive a complimentary pin-back event button. Also at the event, market guides provide the list of vendors and social media callouts, as well as the explanation behind the pin-back buttons.
The collectable pin-back buttons can be purchased at various event booths and not only have cute designs and phrases, but 50% of the proceeds go to keeping the local beaches clean and healthy. All designed to create a fun event experience and social good impact.
